Kangbao Converter Station Project in Yaojiatan Village, Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province: The Zhangbei Renewable Energy Flexible DC Grid Demonstration Project under construction includes four converter stations and DC transmission lines in Zhangbei, Kangbao, Beijing, and Fengning. This project utilizes flexible DC transmission technology to achieve high-power output of new energy, increase Beijing’s consumption of new energy electricity, and meet the low-carbon and green electricity needs of the Winter Olympics.
