In 2015, Shanghai Songjiang Group which specializes in manufacturing pipeline expansion joints and spring vibration isolators secured a contract to supply stainless steel metal hoses, including DN700 and DN400 sizes, for the Hefei Thermal Energy Center Project. This project is part of Anhui Jinyuan Thermal Power Co., Ltd., a cogeneration enterprise located in Hefei Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Project Overview

Anhui Jinyuan Thermal Power Co., Ltd. was established in June 2004, with a registered capital of 200 million yuan. The company’s core business involves the production and sale of electricity and heat. The cogeneration project, approved in July 2006, is the largest of its kind in Anhui Province and a key infrastructure initiative under Hefei’s “1346” Action Plan.

Project Details

The current phase includes 75 MW heating and power generation units, three 220T/H high-temperature and high-pressure boilers, and a 30km heating pipeline network, along with efficient dust collectors and flue gas desulfurization devices. Upon completion, the project will generate 410 million kWh of electricity and 7.6 million GJ of heat annually. This will replace 91 high-energy, high-pollution small boilers, saving 200,000 tons of coal, reducing smoke and dust emissions by 175 tons, and cutting sulfur dioxide emissions by 1713 tons.

Environmental and Economic Impact

The cogeneration project will promote investment in the development zone, Binhu New Area, and Feixi County. It will enhance infrastructure, contribute to “Eco-Hefei,” and support the city’s goal of becoming a resource-conserving society.
